Home Affairs is moving to a new Design Studio and having a Grand Sale.

We will continue to work out of the showroom in Trumpington for the near future but from the beginning of September our new hours of opening are Wednesday to Friday 10am to 5pm, and 10am to 2pm on Saturdays. We are available at other times by appointment.

We have in our showroom and online some lovely china designed by Emma Hickmott.

Emma is an extreamely talented designer who started her career in graphic design working for the BBC. She soon branched out into her own range of beautiful, eye catching and often whimsical china. Her talent was recognised by both Liberty and The Conran Shop and lead to her china being sold in stores around the world.

In recent years Emma has chosen to do less design work while concentrating on bringing up her family. We are consequently delighted to be one of only a fews places where her china is currently being sold. With a recent commission to design a collection for the Munnings Museum Emma is inexorably being drawn into doing more. We cant wait!
